Specially designed for blood transfusion centres, blood processing centres, blood banks and hospitals, blood storage refrigerators meet the highest regulatory requirements. They are classified as Class II (a) medical devices and comply with DIN 58371, Önorm K 2030 and American Association for Blood Banks (AABB) standards.
All models offer high performance in terms of temperature control, power consumption, noise level and monitoring solution.

B Medical Systems plasma storage freezers are devices designed for the safe storage of frozen blood plasma or blood components at temperatures below -27°C.
Designed specifically for blood banks, hospitals, clinical laboratories, plasma collection and processing centres, the 7 upright freezers offer a wide variety of volume storage and temperature requirements.
All models comply with DIN 58375 and AABB standards and are classified as Class IIa medical devices.
All models offer high performance in terms of temperature control, power consumption, noise level and monitoring solution.

Ultra low temperature freezers




Ultra-low temperature freezers are devices for storing blood components and blood plasma, human cells, tissues and other laboratory samples at ultra-low temperatures down to -86°C. U models reflect the highest and most uncompromising requirements with state-of-the-art technology and economy. The cooling system is optimally designed both in terms of energy consumption and the development of waste heat and noise. The factory default setting is -82°C and the temperature is adjustable from -40°C to -86°C.

Contact shock freezers




The freezing process is an essential step in storing blood plasma. The shorter the cooling time, the better the quality. Existing medical scientific literature has proven that rapid and uniform freezing is essential for optimal recovery of clotting factors in fresh frozen plasma.
B Medical Systems contact shock freezers are designed to help blood banks and blood transfusion centers freeze plasma quickly, in accordance with medical standards. They provide one of the shortest freeze times available on the market, with the largest model capable of cooling 48 350 ml bags to a core temperature below -30°C in less than 30 minutes. This is within the 60-minute limit recommended by the EDQM (European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines and Healthcare).
Classified as Class II (a) medical devices, both models - CSF 61 and CSF 101 - are based on a unique technology. This patent-pending technological innovation was developed as a result of 40 years of experience in medical refrigeration, including more than 15 years in contact shock freezing.

Transport systems




B Medical Systems transport systems are medical devices designed to safely transport whole blood and other blood components (e.g. blood cells, plasma, platelets) in a temperature-controlled and secure environment.
Designed specifically for blood banks and blood centres, the 6 models offer a wide variety of transport solutions in terms of storage volume (2.2> 90 l) and temperature requirements (-32°C, +4°C, +22°C, +37°C). The MT range consists of 5 passive boxes - fitted with optional eutectic cooling elements - and an active unit operating with a compressor.
All models meet the highest safety standards for end-users and patients and are classified as Class IIa medical devices under the European Medical Device Directive.
